Gala Gallery welcomed its first visitors in December 2001 in North 
        Vancouver. It introduced to the Canadian audience an eclectic selection 
        of contemporary artists, most already acclaimed at the European art 
        scene. With a particular focus on Russia's St. Petersburg school, the gallery
        also works with artists from Canada, U.S., Ukraine, and Bulgaria. 

       After eight years of a successful retail operation in both North and West         
       Vancouver, Gala Gallery has changed to a website format. The change     
       allows the owners to devote more time to participating at selected
       international art fairs, and to provide a more dedicated personal
       approach to its clients. 

       To complement its art sales activities, Gala Gallery also developed a
       recognized expertise in decorating interiors of both private homes and 
       corporate spaces. Inquiries about the gallery’s collection and services
